Terms of Service

The Freelance PM ClubEffective Date: March 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of www.thefreelancepmclub.com and all related services, features, content, coaching sessions, courses, digital products, community platforms, and tools operated by The Freelance PM Club.

By creating an account, purchasing a membership, enrolling in a course, booking coaching, or accessing any part of the platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Platform” refers to The Freelance PM Club website, member portal, Slack community, job board, chatbot, courses, templates, digital downloads, and related services.
  • “Member” refers to any individual who creates an account or purchases a membership.
  • “Services” refers to memberships, coaching sessions, job board access, courses, templates, digital products, community access, AI tools, and any related offerings.
  • “We,” “Us,” and “Company” refer to The Freelance PM Club.
  • “You” refers to the user or member.

2. Account Registration and Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, or incomplete information.

3. Membership Terms

3.1 Membership Access

  • Membership grants access to certain features based on your selected tier.
  • Access is licensed, not sold.
  • We reserve the right to modify features, benefits, pricing, or structure at any time.

3.2 Membership Cancellation by Member

  • Members may cancel through their user portal at any time.
  • If you experience technical difficulty canceling, you must submit a written cancellation request at least five business days prior to renewal.
  • Failure to submit timely notice may result in renewal charges.

3.3 Membership Termination by Company

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate memberships, with or without refund, for misconduct including but not limited to:

  • Harassment or abusive conduct
  • Discrimination or hate speech
  • Threats or intimidation
  • Falsifying identity or impersonation
  • Unauthorized sharing of paid materials
  • Circumventing payment systems or fraudulent chargebacks
  • Spamming or solicitation
  • Violation of intellectual property
  • Disruptive conduct in Slack or community spaces
  • Providing paid or exclusive information to non-paying individuals

Termination decisions are made at our sole discretion.

3.4 No Guarantee of Results

Membership does not guarantee:

  • Client acquisition or freelance contracts
  • Business revenue
  • Career advancement or job placement

Results vary and are solely dependent on individual effort, market conditions, and external factors beyond our control.

3.5 Platform Maintenance and Technical Issues

  • We may perform maintenance, upgrades, or updates at any time.
  • Temporary glitches, display errors, billing interface errors, or dashboard inconsistencies do not constitute service interruption if platform features remain accessible.
  • In cases where a member continues to access features despite temporary billing display errors, refunds will not be issued solely due to visual or administrative discrepancies.
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers.

4. Coaching Services

4.1 Nature of Coaching

  • Coaching sessions provide strategic guidance and educational insights.
  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes, revenue, or client acquisition.
  • Members are responsible for implementation.

4.2 Coaching Conduct

We reserve the right to cancel coaching sessions or block future bookings for misconduct including but not limited to:

  • Harassment, inappropriate language, or threats
  • Discrimination
  • False identity
  • Recording without consent
  • Disruptive or unsafe behavior
  • Lack of alignment or poor fit

No refund will be issued for sessions terminated due to misconduct.

5. Job Board

The Job Board provides access to curated opportunities. We do not guarantee:

  • Interviews, contracts, or clients
  • Income
  • Response from employers

We are not responsible for third-party job listings, employer conduct, or hiring decisions. Members engage with opportunities at their own risk.

6. Courses and Educational Content

Courses are designed to provide project management knowledge and skills. Completion does not guarantee:

  • Employment or client acquisition
  • Certification
  • Revenue
  • PDU issuance (will follow eligibility criteria outlined at the time of launch)

We are not responsible for PMI or third-party certification body decisions.

7. Templates and Digital Products

  • Templates are provided for educational and informational purposes.
  • They do not constitute legal, financial, tax, or professional advice.
  • Users are responsible for customizing templates appropriately.
  • We are not liable for outcomes resulting from template use.

8. AI Project Assistant / Chatbot

Our AI-powered tools are provided for informational and productivity purposes. AI outputs:

  • May contain errors.
  • Are not guaranteed to be accurate.
  • Do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.

Users are responsible for verifying all AI-generated content before implementation. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI outputs.

9. Community Guidelines

Members must maintain professional conduct in Slack and community spaces. Prohibited behavior includes:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or doxxing
  • Spamming or self-promotion of competing platforms without permission
  • Sharing paid or exclusive materials externally
  • Screenshots of private channels shared publicly
  • Circumventing membership tiers

Violations may result in immediate termination without refund.

10. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Membership fees are non-refundable after the billing period begins.
  • Coaching sessions are non-refundable once delivered.
  • Digital products are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of abuse or misconduct.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, templates, materials, branding, courses, frameworks, and systems are owned by The Freelance PM Club. You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or republish
  • Reverse engineer
  • Share with non-members

Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

12. Privacy

  • Use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
  • We collect information necessary to operate the platform and provide services.
  • We do not sell personal data.

13. Disclaimers

All services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties including:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy of content
  • Uninterrupted access

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Lost profits
  • Business interruption
  • Data loss
  • Career or revenue outcomes

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the prior 30 days.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Freelance PM Club from any claims arising out of:

  • Your misuse of the platform
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Infringement of third-party rights

16. Modifications

  • We may update these Terms at any time.
  • Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
